We have supported medical bill for 50~90% of total treatment cost based on patients' economic, social and family's circumstances through counseling. We also support 100% of total treatment cost due to a special reason, however, please contact with Counselling Center to know details of medical bill support.

Yes, even unregistered residents can receive treatment and medical bill support.

Each Red Cross hospital can be different, so please check the table below.

We have supported medical bill to multi-cultural families and foreign workers who stay in Korea more than 90 days. However, refugees and emergency patients(compliance with our center's emergency disease code) can apply exceptionally for medical bill regardless of the length of stay.

We don't support the foreigners who enter to Korea for therapeutic purposes.
VISA : C-3-3(medical tourism), G-1-10(treatment care) are not eligible

You can get medical bill support after we check a documentation of application for refugee or G-1 visa in Alien Registration Certificate.
※ At Incheon Red Cross Hospital, it is mandatory to bring proof of refugee application.

Yes, severe emergency patients who get treatment through ER can get medical bill support. However, only emergency patients designated by a center can be applied.

We do not. You will get a prescription from hospital then go to any drug store near the hospital and get it from them. You need to pay for your medication.

We, Healthy Neighbor Center will conduct counseling, and depending on patients circumstances. we will decide on how long the term is going to be(term can be 3~6 months). Once the term has been ended, we will conduct new counseling to adjust the support rate, and length of the term.
※ At Incheon, Sangju Red Cross Hospital, they provide support for one year after initial consultation.

If other institutions makes request on behalf on patients, we will need you to fill out the request form and send it to us. Including your personal history, your social standard, and your income. lease contact us for more information.

Medical expenses incurred by other hospitals can’t be supported.
